Of course she keeps her guard up, knowing that from past experience sometimes the one’s you trust the most are also the ones to often cause you pain. See she’s been there, done that and heard it all before. The higher her expectations the greater the disappointment.

See, we jump to conclusions. Failure to take the time to understand exactly where she’s coming from and why she feels the way she feels. There’s always a real reason for the way a woman chooses to handle things especially when it comes to being open and allowing someone into her life. Tired of people saying all the right things and not doing enough is the REAL reason in which she’s chosen to build a wall in order to protect her future from making the same mistakes that have taken place in her past.

A real man is MAN ENOUGH to realize the flaw of his gender. For some of mankind has not always been kind to the female gender. A real man knows that a GOOD WOMAN is worth his patience, realizing that it may  take time to tear down those walls, knowing that if he truly cares for her and wants to be apart of her life then he’ll do anything to climb or remove that wall….using his actions over words.

A woman who keeps a guard up if anything is looking FOR ONE THING and ONE THING ONLY. SOMEONE who  is man enough to SHOW and PROVE, a man who knows that ACTIONS mean everything and words are meaningless without it.

All in all, a woman doesn’t keep her guard up in order to be difficult but to protect herself from falling too soon for someone who isn’t man enough to catch her.

Just a reminder to all men….and a note to all women to let them know that I understand.

Remain hopeful….never settle.
